Activities

Our activities coordinator is waiting for you with a schedule packed with fun, stimulating, and helpful trips and experiences. Activities at Wheat Ridge are optional and generally free of charge so come have some fun and meet your neighbors.

On Site Community Activities

Activities such as pizza parties, birthdays, potlucks, game days, classes, guest speakers, and blood pressure checks may be held in any common space that is available and appropriate for the event such as the foyer, community room, patio, or bistro.

Block Schedule Activities

The activities director may also arrange services more appropriate to coordinated block scheduling. Some of these activities may include:

• Hair Styling
• Massage Therapy
• Manicures
• Pedicures
• And More!

Off Site Activities

It may be necessary to travel off-site for some activities for which the activities coordinator will arrange transportation. These excursions may include recreational trips to museums, the Active Adults Center, parks, or any number of recreational adventures.

The activities director will also coordinate transportation with the Senior Resource Center for rides to medical/dental appointments, grocery shopping, meal sites, community based care programs and other personal functions.
